Layers and Tears
Jeans - Topshop
Top - Pennys
Shirt - Pennys
Jacket - H&M
Boots - River Island
Bag - New Look
Necklace - Beach Shop in Ocean City, Maryland
The weather in Galway is cat to put it nicely this week so I'm layering up. I picked up this top in Penny's (Primark) during the week for €1, love it! I got these boots for my birthday off my best friend and I literally never stop wearing them they're amazing. I also took notions to cut the knees on my black Leigh jeans from Topshop because I've about 20 pairs of black jeans and these ones have faded so they needed a make over. Personally I like the results, my mother on the other hand...
I've a post coming soon on the outfit I wore out that night involving the ripped jeans and sparkles.

So Christmas Day is over sadly but the celebrations didn't stop there. My annual night out at home, St. Stephens night arrived. Sticking to the rich colours of Christmas I wore a maroon Missguidded Midi Dress with my favourite heels of all time, my gold-plated New Look ones. I wore my petrol colored clutch to make the outfit pop and of course my lovely wool Topshop biker coat because the storm outside takes no prisoners! A great night was had and I made it home in one piece.

Santa Has been busy this year picking out investment pieces for me. He knows too well that I love black textured fabrics so imagine my excitement when I tore open not 1 but 2 black skirts both ideal to wear casual with tights or dressed up with bare legs and heels! I had my eye on the cream Fluffy top for a while and I think i'l wear it with the leather skirt for St Stephens Night (watch out for a blog post). I couldn't be happier with my new handbag (last photo) as I think the splash of bright pink is just what I need to avoid looking too Gothic on a daily basis! I can thank my friend/housemate Fe for my Petrol coloured Clutch as she drew my name in Secret Santa among a few of the girls and of course she knew exactly what to get me (I wasn't subtle in my hints). Overall a very happy Christmas gift-wise and otherwise. As usual I cooked the Christmas dinner for the Family and if i do say so my self it was delicious! Keep an eye on my Instagram Account http://instagram.com/liv119 for all my foodie pics and what not! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas <3

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, With the coming of the new year I've decided its time I got stuck into my blog and this is the official relaunch. I updated the look of the blog to reflect my style more (basically I love anything black and textured) and with the help of my Sister Aishling (of http://lestage2012.blogspot.ie/) I plan on being a very active blogger as I have been lazy in the past. Today's outfit is just the type of thing I wear casually if I'm chilling at home over the festive period or running errands in Galway City where I live most of the time! I love jewellery and pandas so as you can imagine I love this brooch! I got it a couple of years ago in a little jewellery store in Paris near Monmarte called Chez Nana (http://www.cheznanaparis.com/fr/).
Consider this the first post of many and please please leave me feedback if you think there's things i can do to improve .
