Happy Thanksgiving and more importantly Happy Black Friday! I hope you've all been taken advantage of the epic discounts on Missguided, Asos, Topshop and all the other favourite stores. Americans take things very seriously over here on Black Friday, some stores have been opened all night last night and all today, crazy people! We took a walk down to the Marina in Berkeley since the sun is still shining (Hello its almost Christmas!!) so I threw on my favourite comfy ripped jeans, a little top and my trusty leather Jacket. The suitcases remain tightly packed almost 4 weeks in, hence why the leather jacket is permanently attached to me as we have been couch surfing and to unpack and repack the case might actually kill me (I may have over packed..). There is light at the end of the tunnel however as we move into our new house tomorrow so my wardrobe choices shall greatly improve from now on.  I also have my eye on a few bits from Zara, given there is 30% off today I just have to purchase and I will be blogging about them soon :)

Slumming it in Sausalito

So here it is, not Sausalito, my new cropped 'do! Amazing what a pair of scissors and a hangover can do to a girl from the West of Ireland in San Francisco. Still in tourist mode we had to tour the beautiful Golden Gate bridge and visit Sunny Sausalito, a quaint coastal town just over the bridge. We chilled out, took some photos and grabbed some tasty food. Fiona's funky 70's hat is from Cotton on (Aussie brand taking over the US). My outfit is literally a mash up of my wardrobe staples; Leather J, jersey midi, cropped top and my favourite booties. 

On another note i am totally in love with my Canon Powershot SX280 (thanks Dad), small enough to carry around in your handbag but powerful enough to get really good shots! For all you fellow photo-editing freaks, I use Fhotoroom from the Windows App Store on my laptop to edit my photos, I highly recommend it...

Where have I been all my life?

I am a bad Blogger.... After months of abandonment I have decided to slowly re-enter the world of FindMeSomeTreasure, please forgive me! 

So here's where I am - San Francisco. For 1 Year. Yes.

It's coming up to the 3 week mark and I have to say, This City is amazing. From the sights to the Fashion its all happening. I have tons of photos to upload but I'm gonna start off with these ones  I took my first couple of days here. They include the Golden Gate Bridge, North Beach, Chinatown and Union Square. Also this is the last photo me me with long hair as I woke up one day with a notion to cut it shoulder length EEkkkkkk. PS my epic black Varsity Jacket is from Forever 21, great purchase!

I am currently 2 Views off 2000 page views on my blog so this Post is a Celebration of that! It's a big milestone for me and hopefully its the start of many many more views for my humble blog. I'm still obsessed with pastel colours as you can see. I picked this blue leather top up in Bershka when I was in Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago and I've been dying to wear it with some white jeans. I ripped the knees of these jeans myself because I think it adds a bit more texture to them. I kept my make up simple enough, Smokey eyes and nude lips (Can't beat Mac - Zen Creme Sheen Lipstick) . The Snakeskin Clutch belongs to my housemate Fe, she always sorts me out with the right bag. Exciting times to come for us both as We are booking our 1 Year Visa's for the USA this week, Fingers crossed it all goes to plan <3

Firstly I have to say I handed €4 and something cent over the counter for this outfit. Happy days! I went to a Wedding in the Beautiful Glasson Hotel and Golf Club in Co. Westmeath last week for my Friend Emma's brother's wedding. I origionally ordered a White skirt off Topshops website but when it arrived the day before the wedding and I realised I wasn't fond of it on (not the skirts fault, it was beautiful) it just didn't suit me so I dashed to Topshop's Galway Store and picked up this Skort for €30 on sale and the Nude Top for about the same, whilst trading in the skirt. The best part was there was 20% discount for students on, success!! Threw it on the with the old staples, White blazer, Studded Heels and off I went. We had a great time at the wedding, the hotel over looked the lake and the golf course which was delightful, as were the Jaegerbombs :)

I decided to treat myself last week to a few bits from Missguided and here's what I got. The Blue Lacey Crop top (first photo) is even nicer in reality then in the photo! The colour is gorgeous and goes really well with whites, light pinks and black Leather. The scuba skirt is a great colour too, the only problem is its a bit see-though so I may have to purchase a nude slip to go under it (It's impossible to find a good one!!). Finally the white leather t-shirt is an absolute gem! I've been wearing it with my black ripped knee skinnys and it looks great! fabric is slightly stiff but I think with a few wears it will soften nicely. I've been a bit slack on posting lately, I'm just so busy but I'm going to get on top of it I promise <3

Although I'm no longer a student I couldn't miss the GMIT End of Year Ball. My two housemates (pictured below) are still students so that's a good enough excuse for me! It took place in the Radisson Blu in Galway and the sun was shining for us! I picked up the dress on Ebay a week or 2 before the ball for about €33, delighted. The fabric was lovely and it was lined so it was a really good purchase I Think! My housemates recycled dresses we wore last year (both from Missguided) so there's a hint of bargainista in all of us. This is also the last post featuring my blond hair as I ramdonly just decided to go back to my brunettte roots during the week! Posts on that to come soon.
