Happy 4th July!

 

4th July has come and gone here in America and here's some photos of fireworks from the beach of the club where I work. They were AMAZING! We got to take a few minutes off work to go and watch them together sitting on the sand. They almost didn't happen with the crazy rain shower an hour before they started but thankfully it passed but not before we all got soaked! I kinda think some of the photos look like a rocket taking off

Week 2 in photos...

We took a trip to Marshalls this week, its basically the american version of TK Maxx and got me a pair of  pink Levi Cropped Jeans for $20, success :) Also made a little trip to American Eagle and bought a couple of bracelets, their jewellery is uhhmazing!! The bottom photo is my necklace collection.  I loves it <3

Myself and fe went ahead and ordered stuff from www.Missguided.co.uk and the above pics are my purchases! They arrived yesterday and as usual I'm thrilled with the clothes, especially the ombre jumper which was a steal at €15....  Have to try save the dollars from now on for a huge shopping trip in Manhattan, it's not gonna be easy! 

Long Beachy days...

It's hard not to take a chronic amount of photo's on this gorgeous beach but I do try to contain myself. I shot these on my little Canon Powershot digital camera using the a few different settings (blurred effect, vivid colours, toy effect). There is nothing nicer then watch the waves crashing on the shore on a sunny day! Almost had a horrible mishap when i left my camera on the beach but luckily some lovely lady found it and returned it. Thanks you Saint Anthony! More fashion posts to come soon,  stay tuned <3

Week 1 in Photos

Week 1 in paradise is over and here's a little snippet of shots taken mostly from my phone and it includes everything from my trip to NYC, the food we're enjoying, our pet cat, my horrid run in with Minnie Mouse and Elmo in times square (don't ask), sunny days in Central park to the beach view here in Long Beach, NY. Expect a full outfit blog post soon, it's hard to find time for the laptop when you live on the beach :) Myself and my roomie Fe are thinking of taking advantage of www.Missguidded.co.uk  's free delivery to USA offer at the moment as one can never have too much summer clothes here! Also I cannot believe the weather at home in Ireland in so good, now I don't feel so bad going on about the weather here! Finally had the Skype session with the family, good to see everyone again for the chats.

Work is still super quiet but no doubt that'l change soon!

 So it's finally here, my first fashion post live from Long Beach, Long Island, NY! First day here and it's absolutely beautiful. This outfit was thrown together for comfort as Me and Fe went to explore long Beach City... cloudy but very warm I ended up getting scalded by the sun, will I ever learn? My urban outfitter bag is a gem, it's my everyday bag, my beach bag and my carry on bag for plane journey everyone should have one! we stopped off at Tutti Frutti on Beech street for some frozen yogurt (yummm) and the photo I took reminded me of my outfit! Feel free to give me any tips on my blogging skills, I'm still a newbie :O
